The non-formal education institution for adults “MeKA” was registered on March 14, 2022 in the Register of Educational and Scientific Educational Institutions of the Latvia Ministry of Education and Science Republic of Latvia.
The non-formal education institution for adults “MeKA” organizes programs of various levels – seminars, training courses for different target groups – managers of woodworking companies and their employees, industry specialists, as well as representatives of related industries.
The non-formal Education Institution for adults “MeKA”
Since 2008 MeKA has established a new department – Forest Machines Operator’s Training Centre, which offers to acquire theoretical knowledge and practical skills working with forest machines – harvesters and forwarders. Such type of only training centre in Latvia is one of the first where it is possible to acquire the latest techniques enabling to increase capacity and efficiency of forest logging.
