Adult non-formal educationcentre
The adult non-formal education institution "MeKA" was registered on 14 March 2022 in the Register of Institutions maintained by the Latvian Ministry of Education and Science.
The adult non-formal education institution "MeKA" organises programmes at various levels – seminars and training courses for various target groups – managers and employees of woodworking companies, industry specialists, as well as representatives of related sectors.
Forestry MachineryOperator Training Centre
In 2008, MeKA established a new department – the Forest Machine Operator Training Centre, which offers training in theoretical knowledge and practical skills for working with forest machines – harvesters and forwarders. It was the first training centre of its kind in Latvia, where it is possible to learn the latest working methods that enable increased productivity and efficiency in forestry operations.
