P1 Project “Development Of A Support System For The Development Of Fire Protection And Structural Connection Solutions For Wood Construction Products”

Main project activities and results:

A prototype software has been developed – “UBK.LV”, which can serve as a support system for the use of structural solutions with wood;
An innovative technology of connecting wooden structures with glued-in steel bars has been studied;
An experimental structural prototype has been produced, demonstrating the application of joints;
Solutions for the protection of wooden facade products from fire have been studied, where as a result of experiments a technological solution has been created for impregnation of wood and wood products with fire retardants.
