The testing laboratory has been accredited by the Latvian National Accreditation Bureau LATAK in accordance with the requirements of LVS EN ISO/IEC 17025:2017 and has been assigned registration No. T-316.

Reaction to fire measures the contribution of a construction materials or systems to fire growth in case of materials ignition.
Laboratory accomplishes required tests for classification of different construction materials in the reaction to fire classes – A2; B; C; D; E and F.
The staff of the laboratory upgrades qualifications by attending appropriate courses, and seminars both in Latvia and abroad as well organizing proficiency testing within the frame of the reaction to fire testing laboratory.
The Testing Laboratory is a member of EGOLF (European Group of Organizations for Fire Testing, Inspection and Certification) www.egolf.global which provides the harmonized approach of rendered testing services and classification of materials.
