The testing laboratory offers the services of wood and wood-based product testing for individuals and companies in Latvia and abroad. Our specialization is wood material and product testing, nevertheless wide technical possibilities and knowledge allow accomplishing testing services for wider range of materials and products.
The testing laboratory has been accredited by the Latvian National Accreditation Bureau LATAK in accordance with the requirements of LVS EN ISO/IEC 17025:2017 and has been assigned registration no. T-316. The laboratory is competent to perform mechanical and physicochemical testing of building products, furniture, wood materials, and their products, physical testing of solid biofuel.

The laboratory offers not only accredited but also various non-standard and customer-specific testing methods.
The testing laboratory is a notified institution of the European Union (EU) within the framework of the construction products regulation No. 305/2011 and it is registered in the register of notified institutions with No NB2040. The testing laboratory is competent to carry out conformity assessment of construction products and has the right to issue internationally recognized test reports in the regulated field on the mechanical properties of wooden products and structures and their reaction to fire.
The testing laboratory is a member of the international organization EGOLF (European Group of Organizations for Fire Testing, Inspection and Certification) (EGOLF certificate).
