Researchers’ Night 2026 has come to a close – thank you for exploring with us!
This year, MeKA welcomed visitors at two locations – Šķibe and Tērvete – offering a closer look at both our laboratory work and the diverse world of wood research.
- In Šķibe, visitors had the opportunity to learn about different types of solid biofuels, testing methods, and the work carried out at the MeKA Solid Biofuel Laboratory.
- At the Latvijas valsts meži (LVM) Nature Park in Tērvete, we explored the many ways wood can be studied, tested, and used – from historical solutions to modern technologies and innovations.
Thank you to everyone who, despite the autumn weather, came to visit us, asked questions, explored, experimented, and joined us for the event!
