SIA “Forest and Wood Products and Research Institute” (MeKA) has signed a cooperation agreement with Riga Technical University (RTU) to strengthen wood construction education, research and innovation in Latvia.
The agreement envisages joint work in wooden materials and their application research, sustainable wooden construction and circular economy innovation development, as well as realization of scientific projects.
The cooperation will promote the transfer of knowledge and technologies, support the improvement of study and lifelong learning programs, as well as ensure the professional development of specialists.
With this cooperation, MeKA and RTU join forces to create a strong foundation for wood construction research and training of professionals.
