The Consumer Rights Protection Center and the Furniture Manufacturers Association in Latvia called for a discussion on furniture safety and quality standards.
Head of MeKA Testing Laboratories and Deputy Director Karlis Bumanis and Head of Furniture and Surface Finishing Testing Sector Valdis Pamovskis shared practical examples and experience of how European standards help to ensure the quality and safety of furniture in the EU market:
furniture standardization framework in Europe;

examples from laboratory practice.
